FREY uses a unique database on the ideal growth conditions of crops, plants and vegetables.
The most suitable plants for a selected area are identified by matching the physical conditions of a the area with the requirements of the plants. The suitability of the plants then are given in a percentage that also takes into account the risks related to the climate for each plant.
Comparisons of the optimum crops with the actual situation and crop patterns with related area planted are also provided for analysis.
This provides a unique tool to explore the potential of an area, as well as under-utilised areas.
